Getting to know Ash Fork

Now known as the Flagstone Capital of the World, Ash Fork came into existence when the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad came through this area in 1882. Unfortunately some of the historic buildings, such as the Harvey House's "Escalante" have been torn down.  The railroad also brought the cattle industry into the area.

One of the largest cattle ranches in Northern Arizona, the Ash Fork Cattle Ranch, was renamed to Juniperwood Ranch and lies to the south of the I-40, with main access points off  Crookton Road (I-40 Exit 139) and Hwy 89's Bullock Road.

To the north of Ash Fork is Kaibab Estates West off the Double A Ranch Road. These are smaller parcels, normally 1 to 5 acres, many with electric available.

Between Ash Fork and Seligman, along Crookton Road, is Westwood Ranches. These off-grid parcels range from 10 to 40 acres.
